My brother was secretly indicted of multiple trafficking (drugs) charges and the ohio law waited about 6 month to indict him. I would like to know if anyone knows how long is the statute of limitations in ohio for trafficking cocaine/marijuana felony charges 3,4, and 5.
There are 2 types of statutes of limitations that MAY apply. One is the time between when the crime is committed and when you are indicted. That is more than six months. The other is between when you are arrested and when the trial must commence, assuming the defendant does agree to a delay. NEITHER applies to the time between an indictment and an arrest.

I’m in the military going on 2 years and they’re trying to hand down a fradulent enlistment due to traffic and small credit debts that I’ve had. The job is not even a Top Secret or Secret job. What’s next?
It has nothing to do with a security clearance. If you lie when you enlist even if you would have been able to enlist with the issues you have that is a fraudulent enlistment.
If they find that your enlistment was fraudulent they will discharge you, no try about it.
I need help coming up with a marketing plan for college. It’s due on 04-22-2009. If their is anyone out there that can help me please respond to me. Thanks in Advance.
Your effective marketing plan would consist of identifying your target audience. Then learn about the product or service that you are selling so that you can spot its strengths and weaknesses compared to the competition. Then figure out just how much money you have to spend.
Then decide where to spend the money: television, radio, magazines, newspapers, online, flyers.
Then you do it.
Lastly, you analyze the sales results to see if the "plan" worked or not. The best way is to imagine that you have just invented a new "thing" and you want to get it noticed. What would you do. That is your "plan".
My marketing objectives are to fill the three classes (30 people for each class a week) for my friend who has no idea how to market her business. Any innovative marketing ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Tell your friend that although she is doing the 30+ also concentrate on the 40+ who the baby boomers, they will be more keen to attend.
Offering specials and added benefits always a good thing for gym related activities like:
Group supports (weigh-ins)
Nursery or baby-sitter
Also introduce loyalty programmes:
E.g. for every 10 classes attended get one free etc
Try and offer personal classes to those who need it as well.
People generally feel like they dont have time to go, introduce ways and let the advertsing speak about how it can be innovative, fit in to anybody’s schedule etc.
Need a good marketing strategy for opening a new restaurant.
You could play off the idea of serving home cooked meals with your marketing. For instance, send out inivitations to a "family meal," "a house warming party," etc. to residents living near the restaurant. You could do 2 for 1, list your specials, personalize it with pics, etc.
Since you’re in a small town, advertising in the local paper or college paper, on radio, at any colleges or universities, etc. may also be an option. I moved from a small town (less than 15,000 people) not too long ago & that’s how restaurants advertised there.
Basically, just keep in mind what your restaurant’s personality is as well as yours. Blend those two & ideas should start flowing.
Best of luck to you!

What commercial product (excluding Apple products) do you think has the best marketing plan? By marketing, I do NOT mean advertising. Instead, I’m talking about the total combination of pricing, promotions, channels, and positioning. So, what do you think? Thanks!!

I am in charge of putting together a marketing program for a woodworking company that does high end sales. How do you begin to construct one.
I also need to set up a program to have new agents come in and train to sell the product.
Well, first you need to look around and see what other companies supply with the same product and do a comparison (analyze your strengths and weakneses as well as advantages you have over other products).
Then, describe your product and decide how you want to position it for your target clients (usually this requires research)
you may want to emphasize on quality of your product, uniquness, or that it is of modern style, or classic, etc.
Then identify the channels through which you are going to outreach your clients: direct marketing, or other channels.
then describe what kind of marketing materials you will prepare (printed material, website, sometimes wood samples help)
and then attach a budget
I am working on a Marketing Plan and I am doing the section of the Situation Analysis. I have done all of the steps except the petitive Analysis. I am suppose to answer "I.Given the nature of the markets – size, characteristics, competitive activities and strategies – what marketing opportunities can this firm identify?" What do they mean by marketing opportunities ?
Let’s start with a description of a MARKET SEGMENT. This is a group of individuals or organizations that shares one or more characteristics. It therefore has similar product needs. A MARKET OPPORTUNITY ANALYSIS describes market segments of interest to the firm, estimates their size and sales potential, and assesses key competitors in these market segments.
