Whistleblower outs NSA’s secret spy room at AT&T
April 08, 2006

Mark Klein, a retired AT&T communications technician, said the company shunted all Internet traffic–including traffic from peering links connecting to other Internet backbone providers– to semantic traffic analyzers, installed in a secret room inside the AT&T central office on Folsom Street in San Francisco. Similar rooms were built in Seattle, San Jose, Los Angeles and San Diego.

It is hard to believe that 1100% of this is to stop crime and terrorism

What are other reasons that the government and the large corporations of our nation would NOT trust the people of the nation ?

1) The little guy won’t lie and won’t hurt people and therefore it is important to discover and control whistle blowers ?
They are just up to a lot of stuff and no one would like it if they found out so plug all leaks now

——– What other reasons would all this spying of all these people be needed and for what purpose ?

Yeah I thought that as well when I started looking into all of this — but it isn’t all that true – it is mostly true

The FBI and the CIA are way to public for that kind of stuff —

Orginisations such as the NSA and the other 119 known security services that the US maintains are far more likely to pull off covert actions within the US and abroad than either the FBI or the CIA — ( not to minimize the things they have are and will soon be doing )

Remember at times the government needs to have actions become known — it is a way to judge the public’s reaction and to get their feet wet — they use well known names for that

Google "exotic weapons" and just watch what comes up

It has been this way for a long time. It started in 1932 and has expanded every year since. Here in the US mainly its been the FBI.

Ok … To make a long story short I am looking at going into the Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller which requires a secret clearance.

My first question is that I already have a security clearance with my current job…which happens to be L-3 communications Crestview Aerospace. Would or could this secret clearance transfer to the air force? or any military branch?

My second question is that two years ago, after surgery on tooth I was prescribed lortab. Well after several surgeries I became addicted to the drug. I made a mistake of telling my job, which just so happened to be the same one I am still at, and they sent me to a counselor, where I went approx. 10 times. Also, I went to a Dr. that prescribed me subotex to help me through withdrawals and I took this for about 3 months. My question is this…. how far does the SECRET security clearance dig in your past, and whether or not I should report this in the interviewing process? I really do not want to tell them because I am pretty sure it will be automatic DQ.

I haven’t taken or touched any type of drug since, and have passed several mandatory drug tests. My job and the counselor said everything was confidential, but I know i have to sign a release to the military…soooo…. what sould I do????

any help is great help…. thank you in advance.

If you still have your clearance then it will simply transfer over. (Assuming that you were able to keep that clearance.)

And informing your work of something that affects you reliability in handling classified information is not a ‘mistake’ – it is your duty.

Now, when your employer discovered that you had an addiction problem – the first thing they would have done is inform the DSS (Defense Security Service) and an entry made in your JPAS records. JPAS keeps a record of every person who has or has held a security clearance and all events that may affect that clearance.

So the government already knows and the military _will_ find out the moment they pull your records.

Now the good news is that if your clearance was reinstated after you completed rehabilitation – It Is No Longer An Issue as far as the government is concerned in terms of maintaining a clearance. The matter will be considered to have been resolved and no longer affecting your reliability. The only exception to this would be if you ever need a higher level clearance. Then the matter will be re-examined to see if you qualify for that higher level clearance.

BTW – clearances _do_ transfer people. All I need to do to transfer a security clearance ‘owned’ by the military is have them release the clearance so I can have my cage code pick it up. It really is that easy. (I manage security clearance at my company.)

what is it like in a day for an ice agent?…..how much paper work do they have compared to field work…..what are there jurisdictions?….what kind of crimes do they investigate?………….and iv always wanted to know this can like federal agents (fbi, cia, ice, dea, secret service) like make a traffic cop not give someone a ticket or something????and also f they saw like a shoplifter or a speeder drunk driver or a fight,,,,,,,,would they do anything?
any info on ICE would be greatly appreciated…..thanks!!!!!!

Shoplifting, speeding, and drunk driving are prohibited by state law. Federal agents enforce federal law, not state law, so they lack jurisdiction to make a traffic stop unless the suspect a violation of federal law.

If a driver was operating erratically, they could call local law enforcement and be given permission to stop and detain under Mutual Aid laws. For anything other than an imminent danger, they would simply stand by and be a witness at best.

you realise you are a little further out of your way than normal but then you suddenly think, ‘hold on, I remember now…when I was in school I used to build a network of underground tunnels and leave a Moped with some sealed containers of petrol and one of the secret exits opens up in the toilets here.’

And you find yourself able to ride home fairly quickly and miss all the traffic by using a secret entrance that came in handier than you thought it would at the time

No that has never happened to me,lol, but it would be very helpful & money saving if that did happen.

I know. It’s horrible traffic on 91 since I have to take 91 all the way. Is there secret route I can take to avoid some horrible traffic on 91? There are less traffic till I meet 605 from 91, but right after 605 to 710 and 110. lots of traffic on any morning hour. I go to south torrance area from corona. The hour I leave is around 6am. Any suggestions?

Take 60FWY to 605 S or 710S.

The 91 is a parking lot usually in the morning.

Obama discovers that the only way to gain the cooperation of some Muslim group is to promise to give them weapons, even though he promise the publc he would never do that, and

he decides to secretly give weapons to the Muslims anyway, and

he decides to hide the deal from Congress, so he has to find some way to finance the weapons in secret, and

he decides to send the CIA to do some drug trafficking to raise secret funds to pay for the weapons, and

the whole operation is run by someone who works in the White House, and

when the wholel operation gets exposed, President Obama pretends he never met the man who works in the White House, and he denies knowing anything about the deal, and he says he never would have approved it, and

when members of the media plan to reveal other information about the operation, Obama snaps at them that they’re putting American operatives in danger, even though he said he knew nothing about the operation, and

the Muslim group uses the weapons to commit a terrorist attack, and they behead hundreds of people using bayonets they got from Obama…

Would the Nobel committee take back Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize?

No, because by then he would have spent all the money on burgers and pizza with "the guys" at lunch.

Plus on an ample supply of Advil and Tums for all the headaches and heartburn Obama will be suffering. And I don’t mean from the burgers and pizza.

very sad to watch all the top spots prague, amsterdam, latvia all have trafficking going on due to the demand of mostly british men flocking to these places without a singke thought for some of these girls been forced into this.none of them wanted to be shown on camera for obvious reasons but one girl who worked in a brothel explained that every single stag party lad ends up with a girl on the street or brothel, so girls any of you mostly english got married in the past 5 yrs and had your bloke go away for his stags on a weekend trip you can be dead sure he was up to everythin and his group members too so happy marriage dont think that would sit well with me now..

You will never eliminate the `Oldest Profession` but quite how these traffickers get away with shipping women into Uk I don`t know, it really sums up our Border Control

According to the Washington Post:

Sept. 15, 2008

CHICAGO — Obama family sightings used to be common in Hyde Park, and many residents walked by the presidential candidate’s home on a regular basis without thinking much of it.

No longer.

Since late August, concrete and steel barricades have cordoned off Barack Obama’s block — and a sizable stretch of the perpendicular streets on either side of it — in this Chicago neighborhood. Viewed on an unremarkable Monday afternoon, 51st Street just south of his home was guarded by five Chicago police squad cars and at least six uniformed officers, plus plainclothes guards and Secret Service personnel. Concrete traffic barriers and steel crowd control fences closed off the sidewalk in front of Obama’s house; across the street, passersby were partitioned off by a line of steel fences and told by guards to keep moving.

"I think they’re going too far," said high school student Jerman Freeman, 14

When will Sen. Obama emerge from his bunker?

He is directing his imaginary armies from there. Reminiscent of April 1944 and another failed dictator.

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., December 6, 2007: “Some things of interest, perhaps. Is there blame to assess over the failed war in Iraq? Is this futile and destructive struggle the fault of a mentally defective President, egged on by a vicious and unbalance Vice President?

The recent revelation by the U.S. intelligence community that Iran, often put forward by Bush and Cheney as planning to attack everyone with atomic bombs, has been revealed to be utterly false. In spite of these revelations, Bush continues to mumble and rant about his determination to attack Iran. There is an interesting, and frightening, background to all of this non-stop lying and it is not the weak character of George Bush or the manic viciousness of Dick Cheney.

The Pentagon has long been outraged at the piecemeal destruction of both the U.S. Army and the Marine Corps in the meat grinder that Iraq has become. They know who the real culprits are because they have identified them and been reading their top secret messages for two years now.

Are they listening to the White House? No, they are watching Israel like a hawk, reading their top secret diplomatic and military traffic, getting reports almost daily from U.S. intelligence personnel stationed in Israel and they have long ago extended their surveillance to the Israeli diplomatic messaging.

From this, they have built up a massive dossier that shows very clearly that the driving force behind the Iraq invasion and now, the frenzy to attack Iran is purely Israeli.

That country has so subverted our official institutions with money as the carrot and attacks by their almost complete control of the American print and television media as the stick. Israel has used the neo-cons to put forward Israel’s needs to Bush…who listens raptly and obeys without question.

They hated Saddam Hussein because he dared to fire rockets into Israel during the Gulf War and they suggested that if American forces destroyed their enemy, we could all share in the revenues from Iraqi oil. That this plan collapsed is certain but most Americans do not know that the so-called “Yellowcake uranium” story upon which Bush based his war was a pure Israeli invention.

Now, with even the possibility that Iran might be working on an atomic bomb, a bomb which would certainly be used against Israel, that country has doubled and redoubled its clandestine efforts to push America into pulling their chestnuts out of the Mideast fire.

Israel, according to intercepted conversations by the Pentagon (and now circulating in Washington) is prepared to fight to the last American life. And those who mourn the young American dead and mangled soldiers in Iraq do not need to look at the manic and deluded White House but to Tel Aviv who killed and maimed their sons, brothers, fathers and husbands.

In a very true sense, the leaking of the report on the halt in the Iranian atomic development program was a form of very high level mutiny on the part of Bush’s military high command. This was not any kind of an error but a deliberate and hopefully successful, plan to force the United States away from blind obedience to Israel’s murderous wishes.

sorry im not fox news, you`ll have to read if you want the information…if you dont, please dont answer
ever heard of "dont shoot the messenger" ?
cant handle the truth…walk away

A very interesting read. I did at least take the time to read it all.

The real truth must be that any middle east state that wants nukes can just buy them from Russia.

Now they have access to an even more formidable weapon the "sunburn", and that is not covered by any western control measures. As devastating as a nuke and only a fraction of the cost and much quicker to make.

With Irans treaties with China and with Russia, it will be suicide to even attempt to drop bombs on them.
They have recently shown that they have anti shipping weapons capable of covering the whole gulf. So attack them and there will be no more oil out of the gulf region.
The meeting of middle eastern heads of state on friday agree that they should now all stick together against outside influences and not be controlled or brought down by them.
Why don`t politicians just tell the truth and the whole truth instead of making decisions on our behalf without our concent or knowledge.
Free speech is just a dream..!!

Is the site helpful? Do you think that it is viable that it could become prominent in the review community? What is your opinion of the recent writing, especially that on AFI FEST (disregard the lack of other updates, please)?

I have been running the site for years and am struggling to find an audience, do you know any "best kept secrets" of finding site traffic in this area (I’ve tried link exchanges, posting on forums with links, applying to OFCS and BAFCA, Google Ad Sense with a limited budget, and Traffic Flate)?

So, what say you? All comments are definitely appreciated! Thanks!

You’re writing style is pretty good, but your reviews should be longer and more indepth.

I’m a member of the OFCS and I’m also on the application committee (although I was not one of the ones who reviewed your particular application). My advice is to make a few adaptations to your site to conform to OFCS requirements and reapply if you didn’t get in. All kinds of doors open up when you get into a group like this. If you’re serious about doing film criticism, then this would be an important step for you.

Feel free to e-mail me through my website if you want to discuss it in more specifics.
